Pool Shop: Accessories That Put the Fun In Functional

Hello and welcome to my new pool blog. My name is William and I live with my wife and our pet cats in a small town in Eastern Australia. I worked very hard last year and saved a lot of money so we could have a new pool installed on our property. We had a fantastic summer of swimming in it. It was a lot of fun. However, I recently noticed that it was beginning to get cloudy. I had no idea why. My friend who is a pool contractor inspected the pool and explained I needed to add some cleaning chemicals. I decided to start a blog to help others who are having problems with their pools.

Having a pool is well and good, but it can become boring when all you do is swim in it and then get out. To make your pool more enjoyable, you should invest in accessories that will help you relax and socialise while spending some time in the water. However, some people may find the process of sprucing up their pool cumbersome due to the wide assortment of items that they could purchase. Below are some of the different accessories that you could buy at a pool shop that will put the "fun" in functional!

Floating lights

It is not uncommon to find people steering clear from the pool area once dusk falls, as they do not swim in the dark. To counter this, homeowners would gravitate toward installing perimeter lighting at their pool area and this can prove to be quite expensive. If you are on a modest budget, you may want to consider led lights that will float in your pool. These are convenient, as they will only have to come out as needed, negating tee need for new electrical wiring at your pool area. In addition to this, these floating pool lights come in an assortment of shapes such s sea creatures to make your pool appear more exciting.

Floating speakers

A common activity held at the pool area during the summer is to host friends over and have some fun in the water as you enjoy a picnic or a barbeque. However, once thing you will notice during these gatherings is that as you get into the pool, you no longer can hear the music blaring above it. If you want to ensure that your guests remain entertained whether they are in or out of the swimming pool, you should invest in floating speakers. These will keep your party lively throughout the day. You can also opt to have floating speakers that come with LED lights fitted in them to illuminate your pool as darkness falls.

Remote controlled holders

There is nothing worse than comfortably lounging on your pool float only to realise you need to refresh your drink or top up your snacks. If you prefer utmost convenience when relaxing in the pool, you should consider investing in a remote controlled holder. These holders can hold cups or bowls of snacks and are placed right in the swimming pool. You then use a remote to bring the snacks toward you or send the holder to the edge of the pool to be refilled!
